Shanghai Tianlin Community Rehabilitation Center was established in January 1985. In January 1993, it was awarded as a First-class Grade-A hospital by the Ministry of Health. In November of the same year, it was named as Xuhui District Red Cross Geriatric Nursing Hospital. It is one of the first batch of community health service centers approved as standardized ones. The “one-stop” service for retired cadres, the characteristic therapies of traditional Chinese medicine, and the two-way referral system with Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital are the three major characteristics of the center.
